Hello everyone! It has been a long while...
How are you doing?
こちらのブログを更新してからもう半年以上経ってしまうのですね・・・
あまりに色々なことがありすぎて、すっかり更新しなくなっていました。
I can't believe it has been more than 6 months since I last updated this blog.
Too many things happened during that time, that I completely lost track of my blog.
簡単にご説明しますと、私は今年の3月にガーナでの2年間の任期を終えました。
日本に帰国したものの、またすぐ飛び出し、現在アフリカのケニアに来ております。
Just to give you a brief update of my life, I ended my 2-year volunteer term in Ghana in March of this year.
Although I returned to Japan once, I flew out again, this time to Kenya.
実は、仲間と共に起業したのです！！
会社の名前は株式会社アンバーアワー。
貧困問題に立ち向かうべく、ケニアの女性たちに安定した収入を得られる仕組み作りを目指しています。
ケニアの現地素材であるサイザル麻を用いて様々な生活雑貨の生産と販売に挑戦しています。
I actually started a company with two colleagues!
The name of the company is Amber Hour Inc.

We are striving to create a system which will allow women in Kenya to earn a stable income, in the hopes of fighting poverty.
We are currently working to produce and sell interior goods using a local material called Sisal fiber in Kenya.

The new challenge is exciting, but we are already facing some difficulties with production.
For example, our workplace.
The workshop that is currently cooperating with us on production is tight in space, with no electricity or water.
We have started crowd funding in hopes of moving to a better place!
